Open Door includes Mental Health Practitioners as well as student wellbeing officers who are also able to respond and support you. It may be necessary for Open Door to share information between the practitioners who work in Open Door and Disability.
Sometimes we may need to share information with other professionals including your GP in order to get you the help that you need.
We will discuss this with you and ask for your consent at each stage. Exceptions to this are when we have lawful reason e.g. to protect children or vulnerable adults, or to prevent a crime.
